If you try to floor a stage 3 Z, it will just spin the wheels. For a Stage 3 Z on street tires you can't use 100% throttle in first gear since you'll just burn rubber. The Z06 is rated at 405 hp, but from what I hear it's actually a bit higher. I've seen dynos of 360+ HP at the rear wheels totally stock, which would equate to an actual HP output of around 440 hp. Last summer when I went to Atco, a few times I saw a group of Z06's running. They were routinely running high 11's. They mentioned that they were stock, with the exception of drag radials or slicks. Don't expect a stage 3 Z to keep up with a Z06 in any comparison. They accelerate better, they handle better, and they have a higher top speed. And as the final kick in the jimmy they get better gas mileage, around 29 mpg if you drive them right.
